Inspired by their participation in the ASPCA $100K Challenge, the MonmouthCountySPCA aims to save 5,000 lives this year and to kick off the Challenge and get adoption numbers off to the right start, they will be holding a Midnight Madness Adoption event August 5th, 6th and 7th.  MCSPCA has embarked on a number of initiatives to accomplish this goal.

Fifth and Sixth grade students at Belleville School Three in Belleville, NJ, visit the Arlington Dog & Cat Hospital in Kearny, NJ. Dr. Marguerite Hoey educates them on proper pet care and on her daily responsibilities as a veterinarian.

On April 6th, Dr. Marguerite Hoey participated in Union City High School Career Fair in Union City, NJ where she educated students about careers in veterinary medicine. This was part of the NJVMA Diversity Initiative, organized by the NJVMA to promote diversity in veterinary medicine across the state in 2011.
